Scots are voting on whether to become independent from the United Kingdom.
Polls have shown a tight race ahead of the referendum on breaking away from the UK.
The 'Yes' campaign says Scotland can prosper as an independent country.
But the 'No' campaign says there are too many risks, and that the UK should stay together.
Polls close at 10pm BST and results are expected on Friday morning local time.
