Russia set to imposes limits of foreign ownership of media organisations

The Kremlin in Russia is set to support a proposed bill to limit foreign ownership of media organizations in Russia to a 20 per cent stake.

The idea was tabled by the opposition party in the Russian parlaiment - the Duma.

Many see it as ploy to further tighten the grip on the Russian media by lawmakers.
