President Obama has pledged to hunt down Islamic State militants "wherever they exist" in what he says will be a "steady, relentless" US-led counter-terrorism campaign.
In an address to the nation, the President compared the effort he's launching with attempts that his administration has already made to combat extremism in Yemen and Somalia.
