American Citizens Detained in N. Korea Give US TV Interviews

The White House has said it's doing all it can to secure the release of three American citizens being held in North Korea.

It comes after Pyongyang allowed the trio to speak to two US media outlets, with North Korean officials present, for five minutes each.

Kenneth Bae, who's been held in North Korea since 2012, told American TV network CNN he wants US representatives to travel to the country to appeal for his release:

24 year old Matthew Miller, who was taken into custody in April, said to CNN that he's tried to get in touch with the US government:

Jeffrrey Fowle, who's 56, was reportedly arrested after he allegedly left a Bible in a hotel - he told CNN that an prominent American envoy sent to Pyongyang may be able to help all three detainees:
