UN Security Council adopts resolution on Libya

As the Libyan crisis deepens, and amid allegations of airstrikes conducted by foreign parties, the United Nations Security Council has adopted a resolution to tighten its arms embargo and expand sanctions.


The actions target individuals and groups the council deems responsible for destabilizing Libya and for committing human rights abuses.
