An under-fire police chief in the UK is refusing to quit over a child abuse scandal involving over 1400 children.
Shaun Wright was in charge of children's services in the town of Rotherham during a period in which it's emerged there was widespread sexual exploitation of children by gangs predominantly of Pakistani origin.
He has resigned from the Labour Party - but is refusing to stand down as police and crime commissioner of South Yorkshire.
From Yorkshire, Lisa Allison has more.
