Russia has violated Ukraine's sovereignty - Pres. Obama

U.S. President Barack Obama says Russia has clearly violated Ukraine's sovereignty, but refrained from saying Russian President Vladimir Putin has invaded his neighboring country.

NATO intelligence points to at least 1,000 Russian soldiers operating inside Ukraine with reports, the Russian military captured the town of  of Novoazovsk on the Sea of Azov.

U.S. President Barack Obama is not describing the expanded military action by the Russians as an invasion.
