Rotherham PCC will not step down

The UK's South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner, who was responsible for children's services at Rotherham Council between 2005 to 2010, has said he will continue in the role despite calls for him to step down.

It comes after a report was published showing widespread child abuse in the Rotherham area of North England,  and collective failures of political, police and social care leadership.
