Multiple casualties in New Jersey train crash

At least one person has been confirmed dead and a hundred people
injured following a train crash outside of Manhattan.

A commuter train crashed into Hoboken station, in New Jersey, during rush hour.

It's believed the train did not slow down as it approached the station.

But at this stage it is thought to have been an accident rather than
an act of terrorism.

Joseph Scott, from Jersey City Medical Center where many of the
injured have been taken, gave an update on some of the more serious
injuries.

Investigation begins into deadly rush-hour New Jersey train crash

The authorities in New Jersey say one person died and more than 100 others were injured in a rush train crash at Hoboken station.


It's believed all passengers trapped in the wreckage have now been freed.

UK, France and China sign deal on Hinkley Point nuclear power plant

Government ministers from Britain, France and China have signed a key contract for the $23 billion Hinkley Point nuclear power station.

Three Reported Dead, 100+ Injured in New Jersey Train Crash

At least three people are reported to have died, and over 100 were injured, after a commuter train crashed into a station on Thursday morning in the US state of New Jersey. 

Hoboken, around seven miles outside New York City, is one of the country's busiest commuter hubs.
