The British government says medical data linked to half a million people has been listed for sale on a Chinese e-commerce platform.
Officials describe it as a serious breach involving one of the country’s most important health research databases.
The government says the information came from UK Biobank, a major health database used in research on diseases including cancer and dementia.

Leaders from 30 nations are meeting in London today to continue discussions about keeping the Strait of Hormuz open once the US war with Iran ends.
