UK INFLATION FALLLS TO 3%

UK inflation has fallen to 3% in the year to January - down from 3.4%.

It's partly a result of lower prices for petrol, airfares and some food products.

But inflation remains above the Bank of England's target of 2%.

Former Pakistani PM Imran Khan’s party alleges he is being denied access to basic medical care

UK Government Promises Social Media Crackdown

The UK government has promised to move more quickly to close loopholes in laws designed to protect children online.


Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer says no platform will get a "free pass" on children's safety and has vowed to crack down on the addictive elements of social media.
