Manchester United Sack Manager Amorim

Manchester United are looking for a new manager, having sacked Ruben Amorim after 14 months in charge.


United are currently 6th in the Premier League, and are chasing a Champions League place.


Amorim publicly hit out at the club's hierarchy about his level of control after their 1-all draw at Leeds, saying he was the manager, not head coach.

All EU countries apart from Hungary sign statement calling for restraint over Venezuela

26 of the 27 European Union member states have signed a statement calling for "calm and restraint by all actors", ahead of the former Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro's appearance in court in New York later on Monday, after he was removed from power by US forces on 3 January.

Rubio claims US is "running Venezuela" via an oil embargo

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says that when President Trump claimed America is now "running Venezuela", he meant that a U.S. oil embargo will remain in place against the regime in Caracas.
