Crunch week for EU US trade talks

U.S. and European Union trade teams continued to talk over the weekend
as a July 9th deadline looms.

President Donald Trump has threatened to raise tariffs on EU imports
to 50 percent if no agreement is reached by Wednesday.

UK Air Force team lands in India to fix grounded F-35B

Intro: A team of British 25 aviation engineers has landed in the southern Indian state of Kerala and are expected to stay here a few days to try and repair a grounded F-35B aircraft.

78 DEAD IN TEXAS FLOODS

At least 78 people are now known to have died in flash floods that swept through central Texas on Friday.

Trump and Putin discuss Ukraine, Iran in phone call says Kremlin

US President Donald Trump and Russia's leader Vladimir Putin have had "a detailed discussion" about the war in Ukraine and Iran in an almost hour-long phone call according to the Kremlin.

Ukraine's President Volodomyr Zelensky is also planning to speak to Mr Trump as soon as Friday, after Washington announced it would stop sending some weapons to Kyiv.
