Trump announces sweeping tariffs on all imports
imports entering the United States.
A baseline duty of 10% will be levied against all countries, along
with "reciprocal" tariffs on 100 nations with some of the highest
import taxes on US goods.
They include allies and trading partners the European Union, Japan and India.
Additionally, a 25% duty will start in the coming hours on all
foreign-made cars entering the US.
The president detailed the plan for reciprocal tariffs.

Guterres expresses concern at Israel's plans to expand its military ops in Gaza
concerned about a recent announcement by Israel of a major expansion
of the military's operation in Gaza which also involves the seizure of
large areas of land that would be "incorporated into Israel's security
zones."
Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz made the announcement on

UN wants answers following the killing of 15 Palestinian paramedics in Gaza
