Sharp Rise In Obesity Rates Expected
More than half of all adults around the world, and a third of children, are predicted to be either overweight or obese by 2050.
The study, published in the Lancet, found that obesity rates are rising rapidly, especially in lower and middle income countries.
The research didn't consider the potential impacts of weight-loss jabs though, which are gaining popularity in wealthier countries.
Giles Yeo is a geneticist at the University of Cambridge who specialises in obesity - he believes government support is needed to tackle the problem.

Indian woman accused of murder of child executed in UAE
An Indian woman has been executed in the UAE after she was sentenced to death for the alleged murder of a four-month-old child.

Trump suspends all military aide to Ukraine
