Harris to visit US-Mexico border amid criticism over immigration policy

Kamala Harris will be campaigning in the battleground state of Arizona today (FRIDAY).


She plans to visit the state's border with Mexico to confront one of the biggest issues this election cycle … and one of her biggest political liabilities: immigration.

The health body says the DRC has been recording more than 2500 mpox cases and around 50 deaths every week. Pope makes rare European trip

The state this month reported its first case of Mpox – and in both instances the patients had returned from the UAE.

China calls India naming a mountain in contested area "illegal"

China has reacted sharply to India renaming a mountain peak in their contentious Himalayan border area - calling it illegal. 


This comes after an Indian mountaineering team climbed and named a peak after the sixth Dalai Lama in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh.

Biden announces $8 billion in military aid for Ukraine as he meets Zelensky

US President Joe Biden has announced $8 billion in new military assistance for Ukraine to help it defend itself against Russia's invasion.


It comes as the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky is in Washington meeting Biden and democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris.

Investigation into student's death after body found in Paris park

A rape and murder investigation is under way following the arrest of a suspect in the death of a student whose body was found in a park in Paris.
