America slaps news sanctions on Chinese companies for aiding Pakistan's ballistic missile program

Adani denies reports of frozen funds in Swiss banks
India's Adani Group denies that it has any involvement in Swiss court proceedings after US short-seller Hindenburg Research said that authorities had frozen more than $300 million of the company's funds.

US announces its support for two permanent seats for Africa on Security Council
resolution for United Nations Security Council reforms.
Speaking in New York on Thursday, the US' Ambassador to the UN, Linda
Thomas-Greenfield said her country will support the creation of two
permanent seats for Africa.
In addition to the two permanent African seats, the US has also
announced its support for a rotating seat for small island developing
states and its long-held support for India, Japan and Germany to also
get permanent seats on the council.
The announcement does not however include expanding veto powers beyond
the five countries that hold it.
Thomas-Greenfield says the status quo within the council was just not
cutting it and it's time to make a change.

US Justice Department defends itself against Trump attacks
