India's market regulator bats for its chief amid quid pro quo allegations

India's market regulator is asking investors to exercise due diligence before reacting to fresh allegations by a US-based short seller.

Tornado warnings issued for Washington DC and New York

New York City airports have already begun experiencing some delays as
tropical storm Debby now moves up the US East Coast.
According to the weather centre - Debby lost its tropical status but
was still considered a potent storm,
even triggering tornado and flood warnings for Washington, DC and New York.
At least seven people have died since Debby first moved into Florida
earlier this week.
