Hostage and ceasefire talks resume in Cairo

An Israeli delegation is in the Egyptian capital to resume hostage and ceasefire talks with key mediators, as families of the remaining captives demand a deal be agreed upon to bring their loved ones home.

Major demonstrations were held across Israel over the weekend as anger mounts over Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's perceived failure to secure the release of hostages, who were taken by Hamas in October.

E.U. climate service says last month was hottest June on record


In another stark warning about climate change, the EU's climate service says last month was the hottest June on record.

Children's hospital in Kyiv badly hit by Russian missile strikes

A Kyiv children's hospital has been badly damaged with 24 people reported killed in Russian strikes across Ukraine.

Indian opposition leader Rahul Gandhi is in the country's northeast today -visiting flood hit areas in Assam and meeting with riot victims in the region of Manipur.

Rahul Gandhi, whose coalition bloc stopped Prime Minister Narendra Modi from winning a majority mandate in this summer's election, has criticised the government for failing to restore peace in Manipur.

Hungary Prime Minister arrives in Beijing for talks with Chinese President
