Zelensky's office denies plans for interview with Tucker Carlson

American journalist and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson said on Thursday he had secured an interview with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, but the presidential office denied there were any such plans.

Niger Junta Agrees to Talks to Mend Ties with Benin Republic

Hindu preacher at the centre of deadly stampede in India, says will cooperate with police

The Hindu preacher at the centre of Tuesday's deadly stampede that killed over 120 people in India, says he's ready to cooperate in the police investigations.

Officials say 250-thousand people had gathered in the city of Hathras to catch the guru's sermon, and the stampede broke out when devotees rushed towards the preacher to seek his blessings.

Driver in deadly Seoul crash questioned

The driver responsible for a deadly crash in downtown Seoul is being questioned by police for the first time. 


Nine people were killed and seven injured when a 68-year-old man plowed his Hyundai Genesis through a guardrail and onto a sidewalk on Monday.

White House denies reports Biden will drop out

The White House says President Joe Biden has no plans to pull out of
the presidential race despite growing concern in his party that he's
not fit to serve another four years.

His lackluster performance in last week's debate has created a wave of
panic in the Democratic Party - and calls for him to step aside - so
someone else can take on Republican Donald Trump in November's
election.

Biden says he is committed to remain "to the end".

Beryl closes in on Jamaica

Hurricane Beryl is closing in on the Caribbean Island of Jamaica where it's expected to bring life threatening winds and storm surge.


Now downgraded to a category 4 hurricane it had been the earliest category 5 on record in the Atlantic - flattening Grenada's Carriacou Island and killing at least seven people.

Record 71 million people predicted to travel over U.S. Independence Day holiday


There are set to be record-breaking numbers of people travelling in the U.S. over the Fourth of July holiday.

President Biden seeks support from governors as popularity plummets

US President Joe Biden is fighting for his political future amid rising panic within Democrat Party ranks that he's at risk of losing November's election to former President Donald Trump.

Final Day Of Election Campaigning In The UK

The final day of campaigning is underway in the UK ahead of Thursday's general election.


Rishi Sunak's Conservative's are a long way behind in the polls, and the Prime Minister is trying to persuade voters that a landslide victory for the opposition Labour Party would be 'bad for Britain'.


Labour leader Keir Starmer is continuing to deliver his message that it's 'time for change' as he bids to become the first Labour leader to win a general election since Tony Blair.


Smaller parties are also out campaigning trying to pick up votes before the polls open on Thursday morning.


Among them, the Green Party, whose co-leader Carla Denyer believes others in the election are not admitting the scale of the challenge facing the UK.
