UN says Israel not allowing educational material into Gaza

The UN's office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs fears
that an entire generation of children in Gaza will be scarred for
life.
Speaking to reporters from Jeruasalem on Monday, OCHA's Head in the
Occupied Palestinian Territory says learning materials and basic
educational supplies are being barred from entering the enclave by
Israel.

US Congress investigates Covid-19 origins

Anthony Fauci is being grilled in the United States Congress today (Monday), facing unfounded allegations from lawmakers that he attempted to cover up the origins of Covid-19. 


The 83-year-old US government scientist was Joe Biden's chief medical advisor, but before that he served under Donald Trump's administration at the height of the pandemic, famously correcting many of the former President's false comments about the deadly virus.

Mediators call for immediate ceasefire deal

Weekend Russian attack further damages Ukraine's crippled energy grid
