More than 3000 Indians died of extreme weather events last year

New research has found that every Indian region experienced at least one extreme weather event last year.

These events killed more than 3200 people and damaged millions of hectares of crops.

President Marcos vows to defend Philippine sovereignty

Odysseus lander to be 'put to sleep'

The team behind the Odysseus spacecraft says their mission has 'changed the economics of landing on the moon'.

Speaking on Wednesday, representatives of Intuitive Machines said the lander will be "put to sleep" (EXPECTED AROUND 01G THURS) before being powered up again in the next two to three weeks.

Last week it became the first privately developed spacecraft to soft land on the lunar surface.

Two men convicted of killing Run-DMC’s Jam Master Jay

The godson of Run-DMC star Jason Mizell has been convicted of his murder in New York City, more than 20 years after the rap star's death.

Mizell, known as Jam Master Jay, was fatally shot in 2002 in his music studio.
