Pakistan calls for a high-level security meeting a day after Iran strikes

The interim Prime Minister of Pakistan has called for a national security meeting amid increasing tensions with Iran. Both countries have said they want to de-escalate tensions, days after they carried out airstrikes on each other's territories.

Japan to attempt lunar probe landing

Children and teachers drown in boat accident in India

At least fourteen children and two teachers have been killed when the boat they were on capsized on a lake in the Indian state of Gujarat, according to police.

Indian foreign minister meets his Maldivian counterpart amid strained bilateral ties

India's foreign minister S Jaishankar met his Maldivian counterpart Moosa Zameer and have reportedly discussed Maldives' request for Indian troops withdrawal from the island nation by March 15.

Mr Jaishankar said the two had a "frank conversation" on bilateral ties at a summit in Kampala.

North Korea tests nuclear-capable underwater attack drone
