Jose Mourinho, one of the most successful managers in world football, has been sacked by his Italian club, A.S. Roma.

During the Portuguese coach's tenure, the club won the Europa Conference League in 2022 but have struggled in the league this season.

Voronezh declares a state of emergency after Ukrainian drone attacks

The Russian city of Voronezh declared a state of emergency on Tuesday after the defense ministry said eight Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight. According to officials, two children were wounded. Kyiv has not claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Consecration for controversial Indian temple begins ahead of Modi inauguration

Rituals to consecrate a Hindu temple in India have begun, a week ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurating the facility.

Mr Modu's party has for decades campaigned to build a temple on the site where a 16th century mosque once stood.

In 1992, a Hindu mob tore down the mosque, claiming it was built on the ruins of a temple dedicated to Hindu god Ram.

The demolition of the mosque sparked nationwide riots where thousands were killed.

UN Secretary General condemns ‘collective punishment’ of Palestinians

Migrant family drown trying to reach Texas

US federal officials say Border Patrol officers were blocked from saving drowning migrants trying to reach the state of Texas.


On Saturday, the bodies of three migrants were found in the Rio Grande river by Mexican authorities.
