EU military aid proposal for Ukraine meets resistance from member countries

The European Union's plan to spend up to 5 billion euros a year on military aid for Ukraine has been meeting resistance from some EU countries according to diplomats. EU defense ministers are expected to discuss the plan in Brussels on Tuesday.

Biden signs up to South Carolina primary

US President Joe Biden's re-election campaign is officially registering for the Democratic primary in South Carolina — that's the first official test at the polls for an incumbent who is losing support amongst his base. 

He'll face off in early February against long-shots Dean Phillips, a Minnesota congressman, and self-help guru Marianne Williamson, both seeking to become the party's nominee.

Hungary inflation drop ahead of economists expectations

Inflation in Hungary fell to 9.9% in October, below the level predicted by many economists.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken at the 2+2 ministerial Dialogue in New Delhi

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defence Secretary Llyod Austin have held talks with their Indian counterparts in New Delhi.
