Zelensky invites Trump to Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview that aired on NBC's 'Meet the Press' on Sunday, invited former U.S. president Donald Trump to Ukraine. Zelensky said Trump should see the scale of conflict for himself, responding to comments made by the former president in September that he would be able to resolve the war within 24 hours if he was re-elected.

Controversial French immigration bill comes up for debate

Lawmakers in France are examining a controversial and tough draft immigration law, which proposes to take action against foreigners who are legal residents but oppose "the values of the Republic".

Human Rights Watch says that the bill threatens to limit the rights of asylum seekers and migrants.

GERMAN CHANCELLOR CONDEMNS RISE IN ANTI-SEMITISM

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has put out a public call for citizens in his country to do more to protect people of the Jewish faith.

Delhi extends emergency measures to tackle air pollution

Primary schools in India's capital New Delhi will remain shut for another week,
with no end in sight to the choking smog hanging over the city.

Secondary schools have been given the option of shifting to online classes.

Officials have blamed a combination of stubble burning by farmers, lower temperatures and the lack of wind for the bad air quality.

Nepal residents wait for aid after earthquake kills atleast 150

Biden paying respects to victims of mass shooting in Maine


U.S. President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are visiting the state of Maine following the most deadly gun massacre in the nation this year.
Eighteen people were murdered and others were injured on October 25, when an army reservist with known mental health problems, attacked people apparently randomly in a bowling alley and bar.
Biden is paying respect to the victims, and grieving family and community members.

Blinken in Israel to discuss "humaitarian pause"

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is back in Israel for the second

Nearly 100 British Nationals Listed To Leave Gaza Via Rafah


Nearly 100 British nationals are listed as approved to leave Gaza through the Rafah border crossing with Egypt, on Friday.


The border crossing had been closed until Wednesday when some foreign nationals and seriously injured Palestinians were allowed to leave.


The UK Foreign Office says it has deployed teams to Egypt to aid British nationals that manage to leave Gaza.

Boko Haram KillsAtleast 37 in Nigeria

Terror group Boko Haram has killed no fewer than 37 people in Nigeria's northeast state of Yobe this week.

Schools shut in Delhi as air pollution turns 'severe'
