Armenia and Azerbaijan meet in Brussels

Former Trump aid publishes explosive allegations in new book

A former White House aid has accused Donald Trump's team of burning documents to try and cover up his 2020 election loss.


In a new book released on Tuesday, Cassidy Hutchinson added new details about the final days in the former US president's office.


Hutchinson has previously delivered damning testimony in Congress about events that unfolded on January 6, 2021.

Russia seeks to rejoin UN human rights council

Russia is planning to get re-elected to the United Nations Human
Rights Council around 18 months after it was expelled from the body.

The vote will provide a signal of Russia's support among members of
the international community.

Biden backs autoworkers strike, trumping Trump in the process

Joe Biden will/has become the first sitting US president to join a picket line, turning up in Michigan on Tuesday to show solidarity with auto-workers on strike for the 12th day running. 


Thousands of members of the United Auto Workers union are taking part in unprecedented industrial action against America's three biggest carmakers -- Ford, General Motors and Stellantis -- walking out from some of their plants across the country in an escalating dispute over pay.


Mr Biden's appearance comes a day before his potential election rival, former President Donald Trump, was expected to visit the state himself.

Third person arrested for NYC nursery school death

A third person has been arrested for allegedly helping to distribute
drugs found in a New York nursery where a one-year-old died.

MACRON UNVEILS CLIMATE PLAN

French President Emmanuel Macron has unveiled a plan to lower greenhouse gas emissions, for Paris to reach its climate goals within the next seven years.

It's aimed at reducing dependence on fossil fuels- although critics of the plan say Macron made the same promises back in 2018.

16 People Freed After Kidnapping at Nigerian University

Authorities in Nigeria's Federal University of Gusua, Zamfara State say sixteen students and workers have been freed after they were kidnapped by gunmen last week.


The gunmen attacked the school in Northwest Nigeria reportedly abducting over twenty four students - mostly females.

Boat captain captain sentenced over accident on the Danube

A cruise liner captain's been sentenced to five year in prison in Hungary over an accident on the River Danube in 2019 which killed 28 people.

His vessel collided with a smaller boat, leading to the deaths of 25 South Korean tourists, two crew members, and one other person.

Row between Canada and India continues, Canadian Sikhs stage protests

Japan, S Korea, China eye resumed trilateral talks

Japan, South Korea, and China are holding high-level talks on Tuesday to discuss resuming trilateral leader summits.

Bond yields spike as markets edge higher

US markets closed slightly higher but despite those gains, a lackluster September continues amid uncertainty over interest rates.

That uncertainty helped drive the 10 year treasury bond yield to its highest level in almost fifteen years.
