Niger Junta Ends Military Accord With Benin Amid Regional Standoff

Niger's military Junta has said it would end a military pact with neighbouring Benin republic, accusing it of authorising the deployment of troops on its territory for a possible military intervention by West African bloc, ECOWAS.


ECOWAS has threatened to use force if diplomatic talks with leaders of the January 26th coup in Niger fail to restore democracy in the country.

Kim-Putin meet in Russia's Far East, say will fight 'imperalism together'

Kim Jong Un and Vladmir Putin have held delegation level talks in Russia's Far East.

Putin has said that Russia will help North Korea build satellites, after Pongyang failed twice this year to launch them.

    Indian cow vigilante, accused of sparking riots, arrested

    Police have arrested a self-proclaimed cow viglinate who was on the run, after he was accused of inciting riots on the outskirts of New Delhi in July.

    Six people were killed and many more injured in the violence that broke out in a Muslim-majority area during a religious procession held by a far-right Hindu group.

    Putin, Kim meet as Russia promises to help North Korea with space program

    Vladimir Putin and North Korea's Kim Jong Un have met in Russia's Far East, with reports suggesting the two countries could discuss an arms deal for Moscow's war in Ukraine.

    Putin said the two leaders will also discuss Pyongyang's space program. North Korea has failed to put spy satellites into orbit twice so far.

    Just ahead of the meeting, North Korea fired two short-range ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan - the first without Kim in the country.

    Indonesia Arrests 43 Over Riots Against Relocation Plans from Rempang

    Google trial opens in Washington DC court

    Google is trending … for the wrong reasons. 


    It's locked in a legal battle with the US Justice Department, which accuses the American tech giant of making calculated and illegal efforts to gain dominance in the market. 


    Google has had a monopoly on search engines for 12 years and handles about 90% of general search queries.
