Republicans launches Biden impeachement inquiry

US House Speaker Republican Kevin McCarthy has announced he's
launching an impeachment inquiry aimed at removing President Joe Biden
from office.

The top Republican claims Biden benefited financially from his
family's business dealings while he was serving as vice president.

McCarthy called the investigation the "logical next step".

US FDA approves new Covid booster shots

Americans may be able to receive a Covid-19 booster shot as early as this week after the US Food and Drug Administration approved updated versions of vaccines.


The shots from Pfizer and Moderna target the omicron variant XBB.1.5 but need a recommendation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention before people can access them.
