Donald Trump expected to surrender in Georgia Thursday

Donald Trump is expected at the Fulton County Jail later today (Thursday) where he will surrender on charges that he tried to overturn Georgia's 2020 presidential election results. The former president though isn't expected to spend much time there - since a $200,000 bail has already been agreed.  All 19 co-defendants have been given until noon on Friday to turn themselves in. Pakistan officials arrest owner of the cable car that malfunctioned 900 ft in the air

Indian moon mission rover set to carry out experiments on south pole

Indian Space Research Organisation, ISRO says its spacecraft's lander and rover are in good condition and have rolled on to the moon's surface. Over the next 14 days, the rover will carry out experiments on the moon's surface, to further understand the south pole region of the moon, which is believed to hold water ice.

Fukushima wastewater discharge begins

Japan has begun discharging treated, nuclear wastewater into the Pacific Ocean. 


The highly controversial project started on Thursday after years of planning. 


The water has been treated to strip it of radionuclides in a special facility after being used to cool molten fuel from the Fukushima nuclear power plant, which was wrecked by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

Russian Mercenary Leader Who Attempted Coup Dies in Plane Crash

Russian authorities say the man behind the short-lived coup attempt in June has died in a plane crash near Moscow. 

Yevgeny Prigozhin, who founded the Wagner mercenary group, was one of ten people on board the plane when it went down.

Co-defendants reach bond agreements in Georgia 2020 election case

Eight rescued from dangling cable car in Pakistan

Rescue teams in Pakistan have successfully pulled seven children and one man to safety. Their cable car was stranded high over a remote ravine for over 15 hours.
The high-risk operation in the northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province was completed by the military and locals.

India aiming for space history with third lunar mission
