Hunter Biden's legal troubles are set to become a bigger campaign issue ahead of next year's presidential election after a federal judge refused to sign off on a plea deal.

Speculation grows of third Trump indictment as his lawyers meet prosecutors

US GDP up in second quarter

US GDP grew faster than expected earlier this year, according to Department of Commerce figures released on Thursday. 


The world's largest economy was up 2.4 per cent in the second quarter — that's higher than the first, and well above the rate predicted by economists.


It's a sign, the White House claims, that President Biden's economic plan is working.

UN calls for peace in the Middle East

The United Nations says the deterioration of the security situation in
the occupied West Bank once again undermines a possible two-State

July is set to be the hottest month on record, according to climate scientists.


Data from the World Meteorological Organization and Copernicus Climate Change Service shows global heatwaves have contributed to the soaring average temperature.


This comes as US President Joe Biden prepares to announce steps to help Americans cope with the extreme heat much of the population is experiencing.

Guterres warns G20 countries on carbon emissions

UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres has called on G20 countries to
drastically begin reducing their carbon emissions.
Guterres says he hopes that climate change will be taken seriously at
the upcoming G20 summit in India in September.

United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres has warned of the

Major New Battery Plant Planned For Hungary

The ninth largest battery manufacturer in the world has announced plans to open a new factory in Hungary.

UK Climate Scientists Warn Of Dramatic Changes

A new report has warned that record high temperatures in the UK last year could become the average over the next 40 years.


Those are the findings of climate Scientists at the Met Office, the UKs national weather service.


They looked at trends dating back to the 17th century, and believe that hot and dry conditions in 2022 will be considered cool by 2100.

Indian opposition parties wear black to parliament in symbolic protest

A day after India's parliament authorized opposition parties' no-confidence motion against Narendra Modi's government, the leaders of opposition parties have raised their pitch to compel the Prime Minister to address the parliament on the ethnic violence in north-eastern state of Manipur. Over 120 people have died and 60,000 displaced in the ethnic violence that has continued for three months now. On Thursday, the opposition leaders wore black to the parliament session to draw the government's attention to the issue.

Delegations from China and Russia visit North Korea

Reports that Ukraine's counter offensive has intensified
