China pledges constructive dialogue with Australia over trade

China says it’s committed to improving relations with Australia, ahead of a meeting in Beijing between the countries’ Trade and Commerce Ministers. Australia is seeking an end to Chinese curbs on its exports following the deterioration of political relations.

Disney and banking sector jitters dominate on Wall Street

South Africa accused by US Envoy of sending weapons to Russia

And the United States' Ambassador to South Africa has accused South Africa of secretly providing weapons to Russia for its invasion of Ukraine.

Title 42 set to be lifted in coming hours

The US is bracing for a potential surge of people attempting to enter the country through border cities in the coming days, amid the expiration of pandemic-era public health policy, which ends tonight (Thursday).

EU SAYS IT'S FROZEN $26 BILLION FROM RUSSIAN INDIVIDUALS & COMPANIES

The European Union is holding on to around 26 billion US dollars worth of assets owned by Russian individuals and companies.

That's on top of the 330 billion US dollars of Russian Central Bank reserves also frozen by the EU.

While the European Commission representative made clear on Thursday that this money can't be legally confiscated -- he said the Commission is working on a proposal to criminalise sanctions circumvention.

Welsh Nationalist Party Leader Resigns

The leader of the nationalist party in Wales has resigned after a damning report found evidence of a toxic culture within the organisation.

Bodies of 14 People Recovered After Nigerian Boat Accident
