Rwanda Landslide Death Toll Rises to 130

At least 130 people have died after landslides hit the Western and Northern parts of Rwanda following heavy rains.


The death toll is expected to rise as many homes are still buried in the rubble.

First Batch of Nigerian Evacuees From Sudan Arrive Abuja

The first batch of Nigerians fleeing the fighting in Sudan have arrived in Nigeria's capital Abuja.

 

The 376 evacuees arrived via 2 flights from Aswan, Egypt.

Foreign Ministers Arrive in India for SCO summit

Fed raises interest rates 0.25%

The US central bank has raised interest rates by a quarter percentage point - its 10th increase in 14 months.


But it could be its last hike for a while as the Federal Reserve tries to calm fears about the stability of banks and the broader economy.

Manhunt underway for Atlanta gunman

A manhunt is underway in the US city of Atlanta for a gunman who
opened fire in a medical center.

One person was killed in the attack and another four injured, three of
them critically.

Police have identified the suspect as 24-year-old Deion [PRON Day-on]
Patterson and say he fled the scene after carjacking a vehicle.

Ukraine denies Putin drone assassination

Russia has accused Ukraine of trying to assassinate President Vladimir
Putin with drones.

Moscow says it downed two drones that were flying over the Kremlin.

Texas massacre suspect apprehended, several others arrested for allegedly helping him hide
