New UN report: more than 250 million faced acute levels of hunger in 2022


The United Nations says more than 250 million people faced acute levels of hunger last year, driven by conflicts and economic shocks around the world.

The findings were part of the "Global Report on Food Crises," which is published every year by UN agencies, the European Union and NGOs.
