U.S. residents ask UN to look into ‘environmental human rights crisis from toxic chemicals’
A group of citizens in North Carolina are asking the United Nations to investigate alleged toxic pollution from chemical manufacturer Chemours (prono: Ca-MORES).

US economic growth slows in first part of 2023
US economic growth slowed considerably during the beginning of the year.
The gross domestic product rose by 1.1 percent in the first three months of the year compared to 2.6 percent in the last three months of 2022, according to the US commerce department.
