PRINCE WILLIAM 'SETTLED CLAIM WITH MURDOCH'S NGN'

Prince William settled a phone hacking claim with Rupert Murdoch's News Group Newspapers for a 'very large sum', a court has heard.

The allegation has been made in court documents submitted by William's brother Harry.

Singer and activist Harry Belafonte dies aged 96

American singer, actor and activist Harry Belafonte has died aged 96.


His spokesperson confirmed he died from heart failure at his home in Manhattan.


Belafonte was a major force in the civil rights movement and close confidant of Martin Luther King Junior.

UNSG hopes Russia agrees to extend Grain Deal

The United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres hopes he has
allayed the concerns raised by Russia in relation to the Black Sea
Grain Initiative.
The initiative was put in place to allow for the safe transportation

France closes its embassy and evacuates over 500 people in Sudan

Mass evacuations are continuing in Sudan, as foreign countries move their citizens to safety.


France has confirmed it's evacuated at least 538 people, including 209 of its nationals.
