Tom Brady retires from NFL. Again.

Tom Brady has announced he's retiring after 23 years playing in the NFL.

The quarterback threw in the towel a year ago before deciding to
return for another year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Eurozone inflation falls for third consecutive month

Inflation in the twenty countries which use the euro currency has fallen for the third month in a row.


According to flash estimates released on Wednesday, Eurozone annual inflation stood at 8.5% in January, down from record double-digit rates recorded in the second half of last year.

Teachers go on strike in UK

Thousands of schools in the UK are either closed or offering reduced services, as hundreds of thousands of teachers have gone out on strike.

They're the latest profession to join the wave of industrial action, as workers fight for higher wages amid a spiralling cost of living.

Mike Furnham is a history teacher in Cardiff, who decided to strike for the first time in his 26 year career.

Petrol Scarcity Threatens Elections Logistics in Nigeria

Nigeria's electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission or INEC says the scarcity of petrol may affect logistic arrangements for the general election in the country.

Adani Group's rout deepens

China tries prevent property prices plunging further

S Korea and US agree to escalate war drills

South Korea and the United States are planning to step-up their joint military exercises to counter missile threats from North Korea.

Stocks up after a strong month for Wall Street

Stocks were up Tuesday - at the end of a strong month for Wall Street.


All three major indexes made significant gains in January, with the tech-heavy Nasdaq soaring 10%.


On Tuesday payments giant PayPal became one of the latest tech companies to lay off staff - it will cut around 7% of its workforce.

EXXON MAKES RECORD $56B PROFIT 2022

Trump sues journalist for $50m over published audio

Former US president Donald Trump has sued a journalist for publishing audio of their interviews. 


Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward interviewed Trump between 2019 and 2020 for his book Rage.


Now, the former president is accusing Woodward of violating his contract rights and copyright interests - allegations Woodward and his publisher deny.

Killing of Tyre Nichols leads to 7 police officers and 3 firemen being suspended

In Memphis, a seventh police officer has been suspended and three fire service emergency responders have been terminated for failing to care for Tyre Nichols.

Biden rules out sending fighter jets to Ukraine
