SBF agrees to extradition

Lawyers representing Sam Bankman-Fried say he's agreed to be
extradited back to the United States.

Currently based in the Bahamas SBF has been charged with fraud after
the monumental collapse of the FTX cryptocurrency exchange.

UK bank TSB fined over IT meltdown


British bank TSB has been fined almost 60 million US dollars after its online services spectacularly crashed back in 2018.


The IT failure meant millions of customers couldn't access their accounts for several weeks.

EU natural gas consumption down 20% amid bloc's bid to cut dependence

Dozens, Mainly Militants, Killed as Nigerian Military Plane Bombs Zamfara Community

At least 64 people were reportedly killed in an airstrike by a Nigerian military plane at Mutumji community in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State, North-West Nigeria.

Activists claim Rohingya boat in Indian waters, appeal for help

Activists claim a boat carrying 160 Rohingya refugees is now in Indian waters.

Last week the United Nations urged countries around the Andaman Sea to assist the boat but there's been no response from countries in the region yet.

Both the Indian and Sri Lankan navies have said they have no information about the boat's whereabouts.

House Jan 6 committee recommends criminal charges against Donald Trump

The Congressional committee investigating the deadly attack on the US Capitol on January 6th 2021 has recommended four criminal charges against Donald Trump. 


It voted unanimously to send referrals to the Justice Department that the former president be charged with: inciting or assisting an insurrection, obstruction of an official proceeding of Congress, conspiracy to defraud the United States and conspiracy to make a false statement.

Jan 6th committee to outline findings in final hearing

The White House announces plan to reduce homelessness with figures not budging from pre-pandemic numbers
