India to ban diesel tuktuks to fix pollution levels in Delhi

India plans to enforce a ban on the use of diesel autorickshaws or tuktuks in areas surrounding the capital city of New Delhi.

The move is aimed at curbing emissions. New Delhi is one of the world's most polluted cities in the world and just last month, schools were shut briefly because of very high pollution levels.

Nigeria’s Government Says Abuja-Kaduna Train Services to Resume Monday, December 5th

Nigeria's Railway Corporation says the Abuja-Kaduna train services would commence on Monday, December 5, 2022.


The NRC suspended operations of train services on that route after Boko haram attacked a Kaduna-bound train in March, killing at least eight people and kidnapping dozens.


Officials of the Railway Corporation have advised passengers to begin updating their mobile apps from December 3, 2022, to enable them book rides successfully.

The UK's opposition Labour Party has retained the city of Chester in a by-election which was Rishi Sunak's first electoral test since becoming Prime Minister.

Samantha Dixon has been elected the new MP for the seat - with an increased majority.

It's the worst result in the constituency for the Conservatives in nearly two centuries.

The by-election was triggered by the resignation of Labour MP Christian Matheson who was accused of serious sexual misconduct.

EU's Michel "urges" Xi to use influence on Russia over Ukraine

European Council President Charles Michel urged Chinese President Xi Jinping to use his influence on Russia over its war in Ukraine during talks in Beijing on Thursday.
