More than 150 dead in Seoul halloween stampede

South Korea is in mourning after more than 150 people died and dozens injured in a stampede in one of the city’s nightclub districts. 


Thousands of people in costumes were caught in the crush during Halloween festivities on Saturday night.

Authorities identify suspect in Pelosi attack

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband is recovering after he was violently assaulted during a break in at their home in San Francisco.

Police have taken a suspect into custody.

Exxon Mobil profits smash expectations to hit record high (again)

Exxon Mobil's third-quarter profits have smashed expectations - hitting nearly $20 billion dollars in net profit.

35 Suspected Terrorists Detained by Nigerian Govt.

First coins for general circulation with King Charles' portrait now in production


In the UK, the first coins for general circulation with a depiction of King Charles the Third are now rolling off the production lines.

The 50 pence coin is being struck at the Royal Mint in Wales and people in the UK will start using them in December.

Following tradition, King Charles faces to the left, the opposite direction to his mother Queen Elizabeth the Second.

Sculptor Martin Jennings created the portrait of the King that's being used on the coins.

EU warns Musk he must abide by bloc's digital rulebook

N Korea fires two missiles in response to S Korea-US military drills

IMF lowers growth forecast for Asia amid inflation and China slowdown

Report: Musk completes Twitter purchase, fires top executives

According to media reports, Elon Musk has completed his $44 billion dollar purchase of Twitter and fired several of the company's top executives.


Twitter had previously taken legal action over the Tesla CEO's attempts to back out of the agreement.


Musk says that he wants the platform to be a 'digital town square', and not cater to any political viewpoint.

Moscow accuses Kiev of making biological weapons

Russia has accused Ukraine and the United States of operating a
biological weapons program.

At a United Nations Security Council meeting Washington's
representative firmly rejected the accusations as an attempt to
justify its war in Ukraine.

UN members also met to discuss nuclear issues in Ukraine including
allegations that Kiev is developing dirty bombs.

U.S. stocks mixed on positive GDP data, earnings miss
