Congress passes huge economic package to tackle climate change and inflation

The United States House of Representatives has passed a sweeping health care, tax and climate package, worth hundreds of billions of dollars. 


The bill -- a major boost for US President Joe Biden's domestic agenda -- represents the largest climate investment in American history, with targets to reduce carbon emissions by up to 40% by the end of this decade.

Trump search warrant cites possible Espionage Act violations

A US Federal Judge has released documents connected to the search of former president Donald Trump's Mar a Lago home earlier this week, following a request from US attorney General Merrick Garland.

The warrant shows the search was related to possible crimes including a violation of the US Espionage Act.

The FBI took 11 sets of classified documents from Donald Trump's
Florida home, according to several US media outlets who have reviewed
the warrant.

Authorities searched the property reportedly as part of an

US Attorney General signed off on Trump raid and will release documents

The US Attorney General Marrick Garland has admitted he authorised the decision to seek a warrant for the FBI's search of Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago home. 


Investigators visited the former President's property in Florida to look for sensitive and classified national security documents they believed were being secretly held there. 


This is the first time that the Attorney General has publicly addressed the unprecedented raid since it happened on Monday.
