US markets close up after positive earnings results

US markets closed up on Wednesday after a number of companies reported
better than expected financial results for the second quarter.

Meanwhile Tesla shares rose after the bell after announcing a 42%
growth in revenue over the last year.

Uvalde school police chief in charge during massacre to be fired - reports

Nearly two months after the Uvalde school massacre that left 21 people dead and the school police chief in charge of law enforcement's botched response is about to be fired.

Netflix spins massive subscriber loss as a win

Netflix lost nearly a million subscribers last quarter as many cut
