UK Gatwick Airport cuts summer flights in attempt to prevent further travel chaos

Gatwick, London's second busiest airport, will cut its number of flights over the summer in attempts to ward off further travel chaos.

The airport will limit the number of daily take-off's and landings to 850 in August, which is 10% below its pre-pandemic maximum.

This comes after dozens of last minute flight cancellations left holiday makers disappointed in the recent weeks.

European Commission recommends EU candidate status for Ukraine and Moldova

The European Commission has recommended that Ukraine be granted EU candidate status, a historic shift brought about by Russia's invasion of the country.

Mass funeral for Nigeria church attack victims

After more than 2-weeks, one of the final Uvalde funerals
