UN Report: Climate change worse than thought

The United Nation's latest climate assessment is absolutely grim.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says many of the impacts of global warming are now simply "irreversible" and that it is getting harder and harder for nature - and humans - to adapt.

US immobilises Russian Central bank assets held in US

The US government has made more moves to cut off Russia from the global economy as it continues its invasion of Ukraine. 

The Treasury department has immobilized Russian Central Bank assets that are held in the US and imposed sanctions on the Russian Direct Investment Fund, a sovereign wealth fund that is run by a close ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

EU plots next steps in response to Russian invasion of Ukraine

Rescue efforts continue as more than 16,000 Indian still stuck in Ukraine

Japan considers sanctions on top Belarusian officials

Japan is considering imposing sanctions on Belarusian officials over the Ukraine crisis.

Hong Kong ramps up testing in a bid to curb COVID-19 outbreak

White House accuses Putin of escalating crisis after latest nuclear threat

EU closes airspace to Russian planes

F1 bosses cancel Russian Grand Prix
