US Surgeon General defends "temporary" travel bans
put in place to try and slow the spread of the Covid-19 Omicron
variant.
Travelers from eight southern African nations are barred from coming to America.
But Murthy has said extra bans are unlikely and has suggested the
current ones could soon be lifted.
