Job vacancy number hits record-high in the UK
The number of jobs available in the UK hit a record high between July and September according to new data.
Around 1.1 million vacancies were available at that time according to the Office for National Statistics.

Damning Covid-19 report published in UK
The UK's handling of Covid-19 in the early stages of the pandemic was one of the worst ever public health failures.
That's according to a newly published report by MPs, which says the government's initial approach to achieve herd immunity by infection led to a delay in imposing the first lockdown, which cost thousands of lives.

Interpreter Who Helped Biden Escapes Afghanistan
An Afghan interpreter who helped rescue then-Senator Joe Biden in Afghanistan in 2008 has escaped from the country.
There are still tens of thousands of Afghans looking to leave Afghanistan after working with the U.S. in some capacity over the past two decades.
