French president puts innovation and clean energy at heart of ‘France 2030’ economic plan

The French president has announced 35 billion dollars of investment in innovation and new industries as part of his so-called France 2030 plan.

Emmanuel Macron says more than a billion dollars will be set aside for smaller and more efficient nuclear reactors and he wants to see two million French-built electric cars on the roads by 2030.
