Biden and Xi "to hold virtual summit", even as tensions grow over Taiwan
US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping have struck an "agreement in principle" to host a virtual face-to-face summit meeting later this year.
The agreement was reached in talks on Wednesday between US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and top Chinese diplomat Yiang Jiechi (PRON: YANG CHEE-CHUH).
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki says details of the virtual summit have yet to be finalized.
