EU to recommend travel restrictions on US visitors

Brussels will reportedly advise member states to reinstate COVID-19 travel restrictions on visitors from the United States, including a ban on non-essential travel.  

It is expected that from Monday, America will be removed from the EU's so-called "safe list" of countries as new cases of COVID-19 spike.

Hong Kong bans incoming flights from main airlines in Turkey and the Philippines

Japan: Contaminated Okinawa Moderna vaccines may contain rubber

Japan's Health Ministry has said that foreign materials found inside Moderna vaccines in Okinawa Prefecture may be fragments of rubber stoppers from the vials, and there was no issue with the quality of the batch.


The reassurance came after 1.63 million doses of Moderna vaccines distributed across Japan were suspended over fears of contamination.

Parole Board Votes to Release Sirhan Sirhan

A California parole board has voted in favor of releasing Sirhan Sirhan from prison. 

He was arrested and convicted of the assassination of Senator Robert F. Kennedy  more than 50 years ago.Two of Kennedy's sons spoke in favor of Sirhan's release.
