Justice Dept: Trump's tax returns must be given to Congress

The U.S. Justice Department has made a ruling on former President Donald Trump's tax returns.

The new legal opinion Friday said the Treasury Department has to share his tax returns with a House panel.

US lays off nearly 200 Russian diplomatic mission staffers

The United States laid off nearly 200 local staffers working for its diplomatic missions in Russia. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressed regret over the "unfortunate measures" which could limit the U.S. diplomatic outreach in Russia. The step, made to meet the Kremlin's demands to slash the size of America's diplomatic mission in Russia is the latest in a series of reciprocal restrictions that continue to strain U.S.-Russia relations - despite last month's meeting between Presidents Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin in Geneva. Sydney - Lockdown protestors to be met with force

U.S. President calls for $100 payouts for people getting vaccinated against COVID-19
